Our Journey

Origins: 2020 and before

Our story began when Ms Hong Wee Tin, Dr Seah Betsy and Ms Krystle Teo, driven by a shared passion for advocating healthy and purposeful living, took their first steps on a journey to create a lasting impact on the well-being of our community. Fueled by this vision, Health Concepts and Measurement – HealthierSG Ltd was born. We are personally grateful to receive the inaugural philanthropic support of our donor, Dr Lee Wei Ling, whose beliefs are in delivering equal care for all people in need. Dr Lee also believes in keeping an active growth mindset towards learning and like her parents, to be able to remain physically active through old age.

 

Official Charity Registration: 2021

We achieved a pivotal milestone in April 2021 when we officially registered as a charitable organization. This registration was a testament to our commitment to promoting holistic well-being as service to the community, further solidifying our presence and dedication to our mission.

A Transformational Rebrand: Present Day

The charity’s endeavour was the tireless efforts and steadfastness of the multi-disciplinary team members. Our team of enthusiastic, Health Resource Specialists, having the same calling for an integrated mind and body outlook to health and well-being within one’s self, looks to continually be relevant and keep abreast with times of need.

As we grew and evolved, we made a pivotal decision to embark on a thoughtful rebranding process. This decision was driven by our desire to better reflect our evolving mission and to reach an even wider audience with our message of well-being.

Our rebranding process was a profound experience, involving introspection and community input. We emerged from this process with a fresh identity – Total Well-Being SG.

Why Total Well-Being SG?

The name Total Well-Being SG encapsulates our dedication to holistic well-being, with a strong focus on the diverse facets that make up a person’s health and happiness. The “Total” in our name reflects our comprehensive approach, recognizing that well-being goes beyond physical health. “Well-Being” speaks to our commitment to fostering healthier, happier lives, and “SG” signifies our deep roots in Singapore and our commitment to our local community.

Today, as Total Well-Being SG, we remain dedicated to nurturing well-being skills and promoting a brighter, healthier, and more purposeful Singapore. Our journey continues, and we invite you to join us as we work collectively to create a community where health and well-being thrives.
